A Special Story of Sharing:
This past fall, at the end of one of the regular Wednesday food hamper handout days, a St. Vincent de Paul volunteer was giving out the last complete hamper which was available that day. Another person in need came during this last handout. Food supplies were very low at this time, but the volunteer said she would see if she could find something left that he could have. The 1st person in need, who had just been given the last hamper, spoke up, started to unload half of his hamper and said he would share what he had been given with the other person.
Jesus shows his love for us through the acts of people helping others.

"WINTER COATS NEEDED,
IF YOU CAN HELP"
As the WINTER Weather approaches, St. Augustine's St. VINCENT de PAUL Ministry is in need of Winter Coats that can be handed out to THOSE IN NEED. If you have any extra coats that you are not using, SVdP would gratefully accept them, so that they can be given to individuals who are in great need of warmth this winter. You can drop coats off in the SVdP Bins near both entrances to the church.
